Technical Support

EMStat 5 has been tested and works properly on the following Microsoft Windows 7 Operating Systems:

Pro
Ultimate

Med Media Inc. does not recommend nor will Med Media support EMStat 5 when installed on any of the Windows 7 "Home" versions.

Med Media recommends only new computers from the manufacturer that are designed for and come with the Windows 7 Operating Systems.

Med Media recommends turning the User Account Control to "Never Notify".  What is User Account Control?

Click for  Microsoft TechNet articles on User Account Control

To set User Account Control (UAC) to "Never Notify" the login to the computer must be an administrator.

To set UAC (User Account Control) to "Never Notify" in Control Panel follow these steps:
1.  Go to Start Menu -> Control Panel -> User Accounts and Family Safety -> User Account.

2.  Click on Change User Account Control settings link.

3. Slide the slider bar to the lowest value (towards Never Notify), with description showing Never notify me.

4. Click OK to make the change effective.
5. Restart the computer to turn off User Access Control.
